Hey, look! An update!

I'm getting there, I promise. I actually managed to clean out my inbox and found a bunch of good stuff to write about and it will be on its way shortly. I'm actually spending more time off the blogging because of the overabundance of work (which I guess is a good thing - keeps me busy) and the new friends I've been making recently.

Right now, I can't stop listening to this Evermore song from their upcoming release.

Laziness comes so easily to me

Yes, I'm behind on my blogging. As usual. I have lots to talk about in my life as well as over 30 new artists waiting in my email. Problem is, I'm too lazy to sit down and write. And I'm too lazy to upload music. It's so much easier to procrastinate.

One of these days, I'll stick to a regular schedule and update regularly. Ha.

Anyway, here's beautiful singer/songwriter Eleni Mandell.

Rocking out to BM LINX

New York electronic rock & roll band BM LINX is equally balanced in rock & roll as it is in electronic. The way they blend the two together is almost seamless. Their latest LP, Black Entertainment, starts off with a bang and by the end the energy slows down and relaxes you - much like a high intense workout.

In support of the CD release, BM LINX is playing a number of East Coast shows followed by performances at the 2009 SXSW music festival.

Elevation and Lights Resolve at the Camel, 1/7/09

There's nothing like going to a show, not knowing any of the bands playing and leaving a the end of the night with each of their CDs. There need to be more shows like this.

Atlanta rockers Elevation took the stage and filled the place with their indie pop glam rock goodness. Everyone was crammed into the small area and the energy couldn't be contained in that area. They got the room moving in no time at all.

Lights Resolve came on next and brought their hometown New York energy and excitement with them. The trio literally made the place shake with their hard beats and it looked like the guys were just having fun.

2009 is 2000-mine

Two days in 2009 and I can already tell that this year will be a good one. I've been the happiest I've felt in a long time. It's looking like it'll be a bright year as opposed to the dark and depressing 2008. I can honestly say that I'm looking forward to what will happen this year.

What the hell is going on with me?
