Marionette releases "Facing You"

Richmond indie-experimental-pop-rock band Marionette finally have a new album in their hands ready to be released to us eager fans.

The CD release was originally supposed to be at their last show at Poe's Pub, however, the band had some delays with the duplicator and shipping. Now the official release for "Facing You" will be this Saturday, Nov. 21 at Sound of Music Studios.

They'll be playing with Maki (ex-Sparklehorse) and Ki:Theory (Remix masters of Ladytron, Queens of the Stone Age, Brazilian Girls and more, plus their original glitchy pop).

The new album can be heard in its entirety at marionettemusic.com. It's full of the dark, melodic goodness I've come to expect From Marionette along with a few surprises. "Sound Asleep," "Orchid" and "Facing You" are some of my favorite tracks.
