Aviary Ghost is a perfect example of Sunday morning front porch music. Relaxing, soothing and highly entertaining. If you like The Smiths or Wilco, Aviary Ghost is just the thing you need to be listening to.
The imagery of the band has a lot to do with birds and flight. We have this event in Richmond where purple martins fly in huge groups around their nesting area downtown and people came out in droves all summer to watch. It's actually quite a sight. But every time I listen to Aviary Ghost, I think of those purple martins.
