I randomly came across the band No More Kings a while back and I'm wishing I had discovered them sooner.

No More Kings' album focuses on pop-culture and literature references like Michael and K.I.T.T. from Knight Rider, The Karate Kid, George Romero and Gulliver's Travels -- enough to satisfy my inner geek.
