My inbox is flooded

One of the great things about writing a music blog is that many artists and record labels contact me and let me know about new music. I seriously enjoy this because it opens my eyes (well, ears really) to music I never would have come across. And for that, I am very greateful.

So I make sure to feature many of these bands or artists on the blog to get the word out. There's so much good new music out there, it's stupid of me not to even mention them.

So here's my feeble attempt to catch up.

The 1900s new record Cold & Kind is filled with great songs, but one song didn't make the final cut. The song is probably my most favorite track from the album (although technically, it's not part of the album).

Everybody's Got A Collection

Destroy Cowboy are from Birmingham UK and have supported bands like Tapes n Tapes, Cold War Kids, The Stills and Tokyo Police Club. Destroy Cowboy sounds like somebody put Radiohead and The White Stripes in a blender and hit puree.

1000 Candles

Fitzo Perfecto's new album is titled Biochemical Pathway To the Mind [OR] The Odd Behavioral Response and it experiments with many different types of sounds ranging from spaced-out guitar tones, thrashing drums, and both natural and heavily-effected vocals.

Anti-Punk
Exodus (From the Atmosphere)
