It's not easy being Jimmy

I don't know why everybody thinks Jimmy Olsen is lame. Not only is he an accomplished photographer for the Daily Planet, but he's also on a first name basis with the protector of Metropolis. Not many people can call themselves Superman's pal.

Everyday I'm finding myself being more like Jimmy. No, I'm not wearing a bowtie and saying "Gee willikers, chief!" all the time. But I am that eager young guy who is anxious to go out there and get the story. They guy who has to fight for his chance to be the bigshot. The guy who has to put up with the people around him who think he's not worth anything and just an annoyance.

You know what? Jimmy Olsen has saved the world (i.e. called on Superman for help) on numerous occasions. And I may just do the same.
