Thanks to friends, I am loving The Office right now. Everything in it makes me laugh hysterically -- even the stupid stuff. Not many shows can do that.
It honestly reminds me of office life. The office politics, the meetings, the various types of people. Granted, I would love to have Steve Carell as my boss. It would make the day more interesting.
It's one of those shows that I can watch whenever I'm in the mood for mindless entertainment and not feel guilty. I just wish I had discovered it sooner.

the office is hands-down my favorite show. i can watch the repeats and still find things i didn't see the first-time through. steve carell is a genius, but every single actor on that show brings such authenticity to their characters that it's scary.

The Office is good shits indeed...Although I have only caught a few episodes but now Andy you got me thinking about renting some of their seasons. ;-)
It's good but no way near as good as the original Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant series from England.
i hate it when people compare the uk to the us office. it's an unfair judgement to make because british humor is different from american humor. the fact is, if you pay attention to the opening credits, you will see ricky gervais and steve merchants names as producers. so to say that this isn't their show is wrong. let's all thank them for americanizing the show for us or else it wouldn't have caught on and been as long running as it is.
