The Planets Have Aligned

This week's Contrast Podcast theme has to do with planets and other celesital bodies. The contributors scoured the vastness of space to bring you excellent planetary tracks. Even ex-planet Pluto was included in the bunch.

I must say this week's podcast is by far my favorite one so far. Not only for the tracks from the other contributors (I especially like the Moonbabies' "Stars of Warburton" and Ash's "Girl from Mars"), but also beacuse I had way too much fun going through tracks to decide what to submit.

I seriously had no shortage of planet/space tracks to choose from, but I ultimately decided on the Red Hot Chili Peppers track "On Mercury." It's a fun, danceable track that will get you up and moving.

I also decided to give the other stars in my list a chance to shine (no pun intended) in my own "Space Age Podcast." Enjoy.

Paper Moon - Mercury Is Clearly Opposing Neptune from One Thousand Reasons to Stay...One Reason to Leave (buy)
Guster - Satellite from Ganging Up On The Sun (buy)
Shivaree - Goodnight Moon from I Oughtta Give You a Shot in the Head (buy)
Days Away - God and Mars from Mapping an Invisible World (buy)
Jack Johnson - Constellations from In Between Dreams (buy)
Splender - Space Boy from Halfway Down the Sky (buy)
Hot Rod Circuit - The Night They Blew Up The Moon from Sorry About Tomorrow (buy)

Wow I am all sad now, I like outer space and celestrial things too...*sniffles*
It's ok it is my own fault for not getting off my ass. But the best part of not getting off my ass and submitting is that I get to enjoy listening to all of the other armadillo's, I just sit back and relax. ;-) hehehe

Great submission choice Andy! And I love that Guster. Listening to Jack Johnson makes me want to curl up with a blanket in front of a fire. Am I alnone on this? Anyone with me? :-P
