I went to a funeral the other day to say goodbye to a dear family member. It was very beautiful and sad at the same time. Not a cloud in the sky as the rifles were raised. Tears were formed and hearts were filled with sorrow. People are remembered fondly after they leave this world. It makes me think of my own mortality and how nothing in life is permanent.

Actually Andy after I posted this I thought you may be interested in reading one of my favorite books, The Denial of Death By Ernest Becker. It is an eye-opening read.
